I have a Series 7 near completion; everything is covered and
painted. It's has an IO240, and a manual trim tab configuration; which is
the point of this message.
I am at the point where I am trying to mount my horizontal stabilizer,
and the push-pull cable that controls the trim tabs is in the way of the
slot for the horizontal stabilizer. It appears that I have attached the
bracket that holds the rear end of the push-pull cable too far forward,
and as a result it won't move high enough to go over the stabilizer. The
manual is very vague on this configuration, and at this moment I cannot
remember what sort of logic I used to place the bracket where I did.
It appears that if I move the bracket rearward, it might do the trick. If
someone could give me a measurement as to where to put it (no jokes), or
some advice as a way to figure it out, it would be helpful.
Thanks,
Jim Gilliatt
