Subject: | Just Two Days Left - Still Way Behind... |
Dear Listers,
There are just two more days left in this years List Fund Raiser. Over the last
few weeks I have received some really nice comments from members on what the
Lists have meant to them. I have included some of them below. Please read over
the comments and ponder on your own feelings about the Lists and the support
and camaraderie you have found here.
We are still way behind last year in terms of the number of contributions. I really
want to keep providing these services to the homebuilt community, but it
take resources. Since there's no advertising budget or deep pockets to keep
the operation a float, its solely your generosity during the Fund Raiser that
keeps things going. Please make a Contribution today.
If you've been putting off showing your support for the Lists, now is the time
to do it!

Subject: | Kitfox Sold. Some surplus parts for sale |
Hi Folks,
It was regret that I have recently sold my Kitfox II. I had a chance to go into
a partnership for a 1946 Fleet Cancuk and couldn't resist. In order to avoid
AIDS (Aviation Induced Divorce Syndrome) something had to go. Anyways, I have
some surplus parts and stuff for sale which I'll offer here first
- Rotax 582 with C Box FWF for Kitfox II 5 hours total time (break in and
taxis test) $ 4500 Will sell engine separately for $3,500
- Model II steel wing tanks with gauges $ 300
- Model II Belly Pod. Factory New and unused $ 500
I also have a set of Zenair 1140 Floats with Kitfox II or III struts.... $ 3000
If anyone is interested please give me a call at 613 259-3242 or email at kjpotter@sympatico.ca.
I am located in Lanark, Ontario.
If not sold here they will go on Barnstormers next.
Cheers
Ken

Subject: | Re: Engine mounting |
I repowered my Model II from Rotax to HKS using a Green Skys mount. The mount
they sent fit the plane perfectly sight unseen.... leading me to believe that
at serisl # 482 the factory jigging was correct and planes in model II III range
were similar

Pete, I checked on that radiator. It was on Barnstormers. I called and the
guy that listed it is now selling the plane less engine to avoid liability.
It was a 912. Do the 912 and 582 use the same radiator?
