Buy it from Warp. It is pre-cut and much thinner than the 3M from places like Spruce. -------- Roger Lee Tucson, Az. Light Sport Repairman - Maintenance Rated Rotax Repair Center - Heavy Maint. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: bob noffs <icubob@gmail.com> Subject: wing tanks i have started taking careful measurements on my fuel system and so far i have a little problem. rt. wink tank holds just under 7 gallons. sitting level it drains all but a few ounces into the cowl tank. flying is a different matter. when the tank won't drain any more there is still a little over a gallon left. i am thinking the cowl tank is pressurized by the vent facing into the breeze and it won't let the wing tank drain completely. i even went up and flew 70 mph for 10 minutes but the last gallon won't drain. any ideas? would flaring the end of the vent on the wing tank make any difference? a couple electric pumps seems like a lot of unnecessary plumbing to get a wing tank to drain by gravity!. bob noffs

Bob, I had a similar problem with my Model 4 draining from the wing tank into the panel mounted tank, I could get them to drain if I did a forward slip with that tank on the high wing.
