Bob-
I modified my tanks by building up an area at the front/side of the
tanks with fiberglas, then drilling and tapping for finger strainers,
and plumbed the lines down the front pillars and back to my rear-
mounted header tank.

I have done a similar thing, LLoyd....I have flown for several miles
with one wing high while the header tank refilled.
