I finally got some VG's from Joa Harrison. I am excited about getting them
on and seeing what improvements result. I figure that after 8 years I have
flown enough that I will notice any differences.

Does anyone have any words of wisdom on placement beyond Joa's
instructions? Are there any places on a series 5,7, sport that would
benefit from VG's? I have been wondering about putting some on the back
edge of the doors. I would like to do something to clean up the area under
the cockpit. - Gear etc. It is a very areodynamically "dirty" area and
other than covering it like Lowell did, I don't know what could help.

      Any input appreciated.

Will be interested in your results.

Installed Joa's VG a couple of years ago and saw 3-4 mph decrease in stall
speed and about 2 mph increase incruise.=C2- The last figure I reasoned w
as because the increase lift allowed for a little down trim for straight an
      d level.

      more stable on slow approach

have not experimented with "Valez" type laning while on the back side of th
      e power curve.
