Ed- The way I understand it, the Kreem is used for sealing up the minute pinholes in the fiberglas fuel tanks. Because the header tank is not made of the same material as the fuel tanks are, the Kreem should not be needed. I re-Kreemed my fuel tanks in 2005 (1994 version), and they are still going strong. My header tank is not Kreemed, and it's doing fine. Ed, I've used that particular tank successfully since 1994 with and without ethanol. . . . Dow 730 sealant is especially good for plastic and resin tanks where the fitting can't be tightened to the normal torque. http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/cspages/dow730.php -------- Mike Perkins EAA TC/FA Havana, Illinois Model I, 532, B gearbox, GSC prop Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=385597#385597
