    Bob- I painted my fiberglass and my metal parts using the method you describe, but NOT using the epoxy varnish. The epoxy varnish is for the wooden parts. I'd call Poly Fibre before straying from their directions, for such an important operation as this.     Hi=2C I used Epoxy primer=2C then shot polytone on glass=2C 1996 works perf ect. Clint IV-1200 almost 1700 hours.     thanks for all the replys. i will go with the proven method of epoxy primer. i had thoughts of maybe the epoxy varnish as a kind of ''clear coat'' but i will use what is known to work. bob noffs
