      video in flight.  I found that a lot of the audio that was the best for
      entertainment value was heard when the camera was off.  I purchased an
      audio recorder and would record the audio for the entire flight.  Then when
      editing the video, I would insert the audio where it fit best.  Goofy
      comments from other pilots and ATC content was always available.  You would
      need to be able to edit both audio and video to do this.  The audio was
      recorded as suggested with a microphone in the headset.

      Plug in a set of ear buds to your iPhone and put them in  your headphones.
