Subject: | Covering Materials |
Hi All
Just about to recover a fuselage of a Mk 4. Does anyone have a materials
list handy. I need to know the amount of covering material tapes etc.
Also an indication of paint and glue would be helpful
Regards

Dave, I don't know what system you are using, but a Kitfox builder in AZ
that is a Poly Fiber dealer, Murle Williams @ murlewilliamsaviation.com is
where I bought mine. I called him, told him what material, I wanted and let
him fill in the quantity since he has built numerous Kitfoxes. I was
covering fuselage only also. I thought he'd call me back with cost and I'd
send him a check. A week later $600 of fabric, all the paint, thinner etc
showed up at my door with an invoice. The quantities he sent were spot on
and the prices were the same as other Poly Fiber dealers and, with me at
least, he shipped prior to payment with an enclosed invoice that I sent a
check to him after receiving the material. I'd have to recommend him highly.
