List, I purchased one of Elbie's AOA systems quite some time ago. SN 330. I have lost the wiring diagram. The one I have has no voice commands. Just the leds. Would appreciate the information if possible to send it. Thanks. Norm Kitfox S5 N66180 San Angelo Tx

Greetings Kitfox Folks, I just flew home my new Kitfox Vixen Model 5 (with Rotax 912 ULS & Ivo prop) and am getting to know it. First impressions: The climb angle is very steep, cruise speed is pretty fast & glide ratio is very flat (I am having a hard time "getting it down") Anyone with pointers feel free to bring them up. Thanks much, Skot

I don't know if this will help, but the first thing I would do is check the idle stop. The 912 on my current airplane had a tendency to quit in the flair or shortly after touch. I didn't like that because I always found it a bit challenging to restart afterword and had to just sit there for a minute or two. I increased idle RPM some and then went on a test flight and on the first approach I had a hard time finding the threshold so did a go around paying strict attention to the speeds in all phases of the pattern. Still came in high. I had to do a serious side slip to find the ground and then decreased the RPMs back to where they were. I would suggest not climbing at too steep an angle. It's fun, but you are a breath away from a stall should your engine quit. I used to do those climb s until a friend spun his Piet in when his engine quit. Sobered me right up. He lived but it was a close call.
