       Dynon SkyView in a KitFox
I am looking at installing a Dynon SkyView into a KitFox SS7. I was wonderin
g if anyone else has done this yet and where they mounted the ADHARS and the
autopilot servos. Pictures would be a bonus!!

      Mike,

Here's a picture of my 10" Skyview installation. The ADAHRS is inside
the upper glovebox (on the right side).

The ADS-B unit is horizontal and the EMS and Mode S Transponder are
mounted on the left side vertically below and slightly outboard of the
      ADS-B.

I opted not to use an autopilot.
The Skyview is outstanding, I think you'll be pleased!
Best of luck on your installation.

I installed a Flightline FL-760 radio that has built in intercom into our KFIV.
When the radio receives any signal, it cuts out the intercom. I called the tech
dept at GulfCoast Aviation, the supplier, who told me that was normal in all
radios with intercom. He said it was designed that way so you don't miss any
      ATC calls.

It's been a while since I've flown but I don't remember that being true. If that
were true, when the radio was picking up a signal, you'd not be able to talk
over your intercom to the other guy to say things like, "We're on fire, Do you
see the traffic, You're airspeed is too low, or Watch out for those birds".

Do radios with built in intercom cut out the intercom when receiving a signal?
Is the guy from Gulf Coast wrong?

I'd appreciate your thoughts on this, so I can determine if I've got a problem
      with the new radio

I haven't used the the Flight line radio, but I had two similar radios in
homebuilts and they both worked the way you described.

      I don't think you have a problem.
