The instructions from GSC said the prop blades are balanced at the factory and are a matched and numbered set and the CG of the blades match. They say not to alter the blades in any way. However when we put the blades on the static prop balancer (the wire stand one from Skystar), one blade is heavy. Weighing the blades reveals that one is indeed about 1 ounce heavier than the others. Since they are a numbered matched set, I question what to do next. Do we try to add weight to the other two blades (varnish or something) to get them to static balance. But that would change the CG of the blades and "alter" them. What should we do? I suggest you Call GSC "Varnish" is good for fine balance.
