Guy,
Thanks for that. I'd like to put the fitting on the root of the wing so it doesn't
interfere with airflow and so it's visible from the cockpit. Still, your method
should work equally well, I'll give it a try.

Sacha,
You may have misinterpreted my design. My fittings are on the
vertical inboard surface of the tank, inside the inner-most wing rib.
(There's a gap of about 1 1/2".) They're definitely out of the airflow
and, but for the root rib plate, would be visible just above the gas
"gauges", (the site tubes,) from the pilot's seat.

Guy
Thank you for correcting my understanding. It sounds exactly like what I want.
Do you happen to have pictures or could you take some easily?
If so I'd appreciate if you could post them or email them to me privately.
Thanks again
Sacha

I have a few small dents in my flapperons. Any suggestion on filler material that
will stick
And have some flexibility.

The dent in my flaperon, repaired with regular automotive Bondo, have survived
many years. I applied the Bondo to the bare aluminum. (The dents were caused by
improper wing folding.)
