    I have read somewhere that an electric fuel pump should be plumbed in parallel with the mechanical pump. It sounds like you all have plumbed them in series. Is that right? If that's true it makes for an easier installation.     Hi Lloyd In series is correct. The Rotax mechanical pump does not have a known failure modes where it fails blocking the passage of fuel. Make sure the same holds true for the electrical pump or else fit a one way bypass valve in parallel to it.
