I have not seen any activity on this list for days. Are things just quiet?

Mike,
I got your post. Nothing else recently. So might as well say something.
I flew Idaho back country for a couple of days with Stick & Rudder about a
month ago, fun and I learned a lot, did not think I would say that since I
have played with my model IV 1050, 80 hp Rotax for over a decade and been
all over the country, more on that in a second.
Paul Liedebrand's Kitfox specific flight school is not your average flight
school taught by kids right out of a big CFI training program for sure.
Paul keeps his planes in great shape, amazing for back country trainers
and a testament to his operation as well as the airframe.
We stopped at the factory and visited with Debra & John. I let them know
how impressed I am with how refined the current model 7 is compared to
earlier versions like mine. Good to see Kitfox on solid footing and
turning out great planes, capable planes, FUN PLANES!
My wife and I have been trailering our Kitfox all over the country every
year for a something over a decade behind a small motorhome, combining
touring by motor home and flying in spectacular places I probably would
never have flown down low and slow in otherwise.
Typically at Sebring, Sun N Fun, Air Venture, Copper State & a few other
aviation events I do a couple of forums, no sales, just sharing some low
and slow photos from touring and lots of tips on how to make it
inexpensive, simple, quick, easy, safe and of course FUN. After decades of
flying to work all over the country in Mooneys and Turbo Twin Comanches I
had no idea what I was missing until the Kitfox entered our lives.
Hope to see some Kitfox folks this year at the various aviation events
while we are touring and of course learn from others in the process.

Is this the flight school documented in the latest Kitplane mag?

I flew with Paul in August and was also very impressed. Stick & Rudder is a class
act all the way, and the Series 7 is an amazing airplane. I plan to go back
for some more back country training.
If you are the guy that trailers his 'Fox all over the country, I just missed you
at Oshkosh. Maybe I'll catch you at Copper State next Fall.
