Happy Holidays to the entire Kitfox/ Matronics community! Or what's left of
us at least. Glad to here you geezers are still out there and flying! Lynn
may have the highest time Model 4 airframe in KF history.
I vote with Lynn on a=C2- Michigan gathering. We are "middle America" aft
er all, and just a hop across the pond from OSH, making for a very convenie
nt pre or post AirVenture venue.

Just my 2 cents because my Fox is not flying (water damaged & rebuilding). C
enter of lower 48 states is 2 1/2 miles outside of Lebanon, Kansas. Yea, I h
ad nothing better to do today than checking out middle America.

I've monitored (lurked) and enjoyed this list for several years now, but there
hasn't been much activity. I also monitor & participate in the TeamKitfox site.
I understand the nostalgia for lists like this, as I used to participate in
information sharing lists in the earlier days of computers, with nothing more
than a "smart" keyboard and a 300 baud rate modem. I'm building a Series 7 SS
(my 2nd homebuilt). I get a daily email "digest" from both sites... it's not
at all difficult to set up. I think I would appreciate this site even more if
there was more current activity like there evidently was in the "old" days. It's
also a little frustrating to have to wade through multiple duplicate messages
when users don't seem to know how to "clean up" a post with the delete key.
Another thing frustrating is the occasional post that contains nothing but a
bunch of undecipherable code. The TeamKitfox site is more modern of course, and
I appreciate the relative ease of posting pictures right along with your message
for instance. There is also a lot more current information from builders
being shared now. Again, I like them both, and I contribute to Matronics during
the fund drive. The AeroElectric connection Matronics list is also one that
I like.
Some might ask why I haven't contributed more posts to this list myself. I guess
the main reason is that I spend too much time on the internet as it is, & I
try to concentrate that time where I get the "most bang for the buck".
