Thanks for all the help on the last set of questions. I'm moving along nicely. One more, though. I'm getting a little fuel coming out the vent lines, and my idle seems to wander between 1800 and 2200, mostly towards 2200. I seem to remember a problem with "weak / bad" float needles in the past and wonder if my engine might be of that vintage. (Purchased new 2011.) Are there different "strength" float needles for 912's? I haven't sync'd the carbs yet, but don't think things are running exceptionally rough. (At least not by 582 standards!) I'll do so this week but are the carb floats that sensitive to vibration? Guy Buchanan Ramona, CA Kitfox IV-1200 / 912-S / Warp 3cs / 500 hrs. and grounded Now a glider pilot, too.

Larry, Thanks again for the reminder and sorry I needed it. Attached is the picture. And you are correct, the hole is drilled right through the weld bead. Typically, I will dill a 1/8" hole as a pilot hole then go up to the 3/16.
