Jim, I have one. I needed to replace the left one. I bought both from a
fellow in Canada that was building a 1050 gross Mod 4 and was upgrading to
a 1200 gross. The strut has the wooden fairings installed, wrapped
and painted white. They were mounted on his plane but never flown, new
assembled struts. All I needed to do was paint yellow to match my plane
and install. Where are you located?

Hi Pat,
I am actually inquiring for a friend that doesn't have a lot of email
experience, who just stalled his plane on takeoff.
He was test flying a new landing gear that features an "X" member in the
landing gear configuration. He nosed over in to a bunch of trees and
came out of it almost unscratched, which was a miracle to say the
least. A bent lift strut is the worst of the damage. His name is Oscar
Calderon; he has a Model 3 with a Jabiru; and we fly out of Richmond Air
Port in Rhode Island. His email is 4015792068@vtext.com; as you can see
I am sending him a copy of this.
I am at the same airport, and am building a Series 7 with an IO240. Oh,
and by the way he mashed his prop pretty well, as would be sort of
obvious, which will probably be the worst damage.
Thanks for responding.
