I've been monitoring the list regularly for years. Plan to get my Model 5 o
n Clarmar amphibs back in the air in May after installing a new 912 ULS and
experiencing a compound fracture last summer. Joel near Seattle

I=99m an old timer here. Monitor the list every day. My partner
and I finished our KF-4 (N23PK) in =9996. Now has abt 525 hrs (150
or so on a 912ULS). Should be flying it more, but I=99m
approaching 85 years old and slowing down a little, besides having other
airplanes I fly fairly often.

I've been checking the list since the early 1990's. Not much activity,
but I know lots of us are still lurking and available if needed

I am glad to read the activity on our old list. It is neat to have the
emails come in the inbox instead of going to the website.
Had a 5 Vixen back in 2007. It was great fun. I sold it a month before a
hangar fire in the next T hangar, totaled my Bonanzaand I had
no insurance on the Vixen.
Two years ago I found an almost finished 7 SS with a Continental and
flew it a year, but then needed to go faster and went back to a 62
Bonanza.
Lyle, I hear you. I am 74 and certainly cannot do what I used to
dobut I keep on keeping on. I have a friend in Gainesville,
Fl., who just sold his Bonanza and is looking for something else to
fly--he is 86!
There is a line in the "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" movie said by an
older man who has memory problems"first the knees and
then the names."
I am nearing the "knees" part. lol
Y'll take care, Grant, Gainesville, GA.

Although I haven't actively posted on this forum, I'm a builder of a S7 SS for
several years, just getting close to flying. I get the email compilation of daily
posts (if any) every day, and always check it. Having been a user of bulletin
board type forums since they first existed, I fully appreciate them... I'm
glad to see a little activity here. However, I think that the attitude shown
by one recent poster, stating that the Team Kitfox forum was a "pain in the
"a##" should be rebutted. I'll tell you what is a pain in the you know what -
when people post to a forum like this and somehow include every previous posting
on that thread at the end of theirs. It is a genuine pain to scroll through
dozens & dozens of duplicate posts, over & over again before you can get to
the next new one. Team Kitfox has literally thousands of viewers and participants,
and the value to builders and enthusiasts is great. There are features
that make it very nice to use, posting pictures, searching, etc. I'm not here
to sell that site to anyone, and I think this forum is good and important - but
I support anything relating to this great airplane in all its incarnations.

John, Thanks for the rebuttal. Sorry bout it, but this is a user friendly
site format. Team Kitfox with secret screen names, pass words, etc is still
a pain in the ass.
