Noxious weeds are getting out of controll in our area and many of our own pastures can only be sprayed on foot or horseback / or by air. Thought i'd reach out to the old school list where some of you would have likely seen something out there to adapt to a kitfox for a tank and nozzles etc.... Also i have started doing some testing on cover crop seeding with radishes / turnips / alfalfa within the rows of a corn crop etc... but anyone that has seen or developed anything like this i'm open to ideas. Thx JAred On 7/16/2018 1:42 PM, jdmcbean wrote: > --> Kitfox-List message posted by: "jdmcbean"<jdmcbean@kitfoxaircraft.com> > > TEAMKITFOX - UPDATE - We are growing Rapidly.. I know I've seen early Kitfox information that there was a Ag Sprayer version featured. Maybe they even sold a kit made to equip a Kitfox, I'll look in my old Kitfox papers and let you know if I find anything. Jared, I found a 1991 Denny Aerocraft Co. catalog listing for a Ag Spray System P/N: 69063. It listed for $3,655. There is a small side view photo which shows a conformal tank mounted between the landing gear and spray system mounted behind that. The system seems to be a horizontal tube with spray heads across the bottom of the fuselage and additional struts attached to the outer wing struts to support the outer ends of the spray tubes. The caption states: "Ultra Low Volume. 2electric pumps. 4 atomizer heads." I also remember seeing photos or video clip of it in action. I'll send that if I can find it. At least you know it's been done by a previous Kitfox Company. They may still have the information in their archives. Here's a alternate system that might be adapted? http://www.quicksilveraircraft.com/Crop_Spraying.php Rex Hefferan M2/582 On 7/29/2018 6:20 AM, jareds wrote: > Noxious weeds are getting out of controll in our area and many of our > own pastures can only be sprayed on foot or horseback / or by air. > Thought i'd reach out to the old school list where some of you would > have likely seen something out there to adapt to a kitfox for a tank > and nozzles etc.... > Also i have started doing some testing on cover crop seeding with > radishes / turnips / alfalfa within the rows of a corn crop etc... but > anyone that has seen or developed anything like this i'm open to ideas. > > Thx > > JAred > > On 7/16/2018 1:42 PM, jdmcbean wrote: >> "jdmcbean"<jdmcbean@kitfoxaircraft.com> >> >> TEAMKITFOX - UPDATE - We are growing Rapidly..
