Looks like flying in Alabama will be little to none for a week or so.
Started raining a hour ago.
Haven't had any List mail in the last 24 hours. Are we still

Hi Bob/Bill/and any others, if you are out there:
Thought maybe I had been dropped from the rolls as a deserter. Looks
like there are two other souls out there as well as me.
Good thing it is raining today. I am detailed to put up Xmas tree at
Nell's, run errands, and what ever else she conjures up in her female
mind.
Outside activities are out for a while any how.
Hope you all are doing great. I really can not find anything I need
to complain about.
Merry Xmas,
john h
PS: I am on the way to the big city of Wetumpka, AL. Will take my
notebook with me so I can keep current on all the activities.

Maybe everyone is out Xmas shopping this weekend. I've been watching
things pretty close that last couple of days since the Firewall incident
and, while slow, it seems like everything is working as it suppose to...
So, what is a controversial topic on the Kolb List? On the RV-List all you
have to do is say something like, "Well, nose wheels are for wussies..."
and you'll have a whole flurry of traffic!

John Hauck,
Was talking to Larry Israel of the old TEAM group and he said
to ask you to instruct the Kolb Group on how to deploy (or not to !!) a non
ballistic chute from a Kolb. I believe he mentioned Addison Ala. some years ago.
What's the story?

I found this stuff called Seafoam that will make your 2-stroke engine
more reliable than a 912 and able to get 2000 hours TBO and have more
power, more climb, with no carbon buildup. Why spend your precious money
on a 4-stroke when you can get a can of this stuff for only $5?
Oh and by the way if you use synthetic oil with that Seafoam, you should
be able to double that TBO of 2000 hours! We are talking 4000 hours out
of a puny Rotax 447 2-stroke. Gees, that's more hours than you can ever
put on an engine. What a savings! Hey you can't go wrong here.
Proven results. Any comments?

some years ago. What's the story? Ray Anderson
Ray/Gang:
Ran out of airplane and had to rely on my old Jim Handbury hand deployed
parachute to prolong life. It worked. That was March 1990, Addison,
Alabama.
I had the procedure down pat by then. I got some practice the first time I
used the same Handbury hand deployed parachute to save my ugly butt October
1985. Same thing. Ran out of airplane and needed some serious backup. It
worked.
Paid $500.00 for that parachute in 1984. That equates to about $250.00 per
save. A bargain at any price.
Take care,
