Yeah, Monument Valley. I think they just do that to make US feel bad ;-) Maybe we could arange a meeting on this side of the Atlantic. Just to get even... Let us know how the first full flight goes for you. My original post about the 2005 Flying Season was meant to get Kolb fliers talking about getting together. Yes our trips to Monument Valley are enjoyed by several of us but it is open to everyone. I asked for input on where we could gather and listed the major regional Fly-In's here in the USA. It was not intended to leave the rest of the world out of gathering. http://home.comcast.net/~kolbrapilot/Photos/2005_Flying_Season.htm With that in mind, I suggest a Kolb Gathering at Biggin Hill Airport, England. http://www.bigginhillairport.com/ Another favorite spot of mine is Luxemburg. Only problem is I can't get my Kolb to fly that far even with my auxillary fuel tank. This list is great for getting ideas and help while you are building but you have to finish some time and go flying. If the process works correctly, you should be flying a lot more than building. Hence all the flying talk. I suppose it's closer to one of those than a brand new Firestar.
