Very complete kit in very good condition. Includes Rotax starter, Power
Sonic battery, cables/wires (as used on a Kolb FireFly), starter switch,
installation instructions, and shipping too! More than you'll get (and for
less $$) than if buying just a new starter elsewhere. Can be used on 503 or
447. Originally purchased in 2002. Removed from a Kolb Firefly with a Rotax
447 with 70 hrs on it. Contact Mark Anliker via e-mail or at
217-898-4766. Digital pics available.

Just saw on the TV news of a two place "Ultralight Type" aircraft crash in Fl.
It did appear to me to be a Two place Kolb. The tube had broken off just behind
the cage. The good news tho was that both people has survived. I'm sure that
some of our Fl. friends will know who it was.

Hey Guys,
The Kolbra is back flyable.
I think that anything that could go wrong during the annual Condition
Inspection did. But the Kolbra flew great this afternoon.
With the Rotax 912UL engine at full throttle I get 5500 rpm and 104 mph. At
5000 rpm I indicate 95 mph. I have lost 6 mph over the 912ULS that I took
off. The big difference seems to be in the climb, I don't do it quite as
good now. At full power now I can get the Kolbra to stall, well kind of
stall, it stalls and immediately starts flying again and then stalls again.
This is with the elevator at max deflection. It flies pretty good.
Four more hours in my flight test area and I will be ready to start visiting
again.

Hi John W/Gang:
That is good news.
If you think you can stuff that Kolbra in Gantt International Airport, I'll
send you the coordinates.
Still trying to decide on flying the MKIII to Sun and Fun or pulling the 5th
wheel. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.
Less than two months to make a decision.
Take care,
john h
