--> Kolb-List message posted by: <williamdgleason@bellsouth.net> I would like to know if anyone is still using Precision Propellers 3 blade wood prop. I think the old Kolb Co. used one for awhile on their prototype Mk II. Would there be a noticable overall improvement if Ichanged to a composite type?

--> Kolb-List message posted by: "Richard Swiderwski" <rswiderski@earthlink.net> William, It's hard to say, I & a buddy of mine have used them for hundreds of hours & were delighted with them. The company was first rate. I heard they changed hands so I'm not sure how they compare to the original out of Vernal Utah. If yours was anything like ours, I can't see how you would get a lot of performance gain. If you have the soft urethane leading edge protection, I don't think you will gain any degree of "toughness". You might find some weight savings. ....Richard Swiderski -----Original Message----- From: owner-kolb-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-kolb-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of williamdgleason@bellsouth.net Subject: Kolb-List: Precision Propellers --> Kolb-List message posted by: <williamdgleason@bellsouth.net> I would like to know if anyone is still using Precision Propellers 3 blade wood prop.
