With that kind of incentive, I'll bet it doesn't take you long to rack up that 5 hrs. I've already found a gauge to put in the oil return line to see if pressure is building up in the redrive, but it's gonna hafta wait till I get back home. I was pretty burned this afternoon, but ready now to try again. Putting the VW on blocks and going to a 912 sounds great, but I'm a working man, and that's WAY beyond my means. --> Kolb-List message posted by: bryan green <lgreen1@sc.rr.com> Morning Will and all Thanks for the post. I understand the ADIZ and what the question had to do with Kolbs. In trying to shorten the text with my message I erased the part I was referring to ( a political statement from someone that does not vote here, something about a Redneck huntin Mexicans ). I vote I served and I certainly have political opinions of my own which I will refrain from posting on this list along with my thoughts on Gliders and the Tooth fairy. --> Kolb-List message posted by: "Edward Steuber" <esteuber@rochester.rr.com> I'm with John W. and Dave C. on the border stuff...Up here in Western NY we have a lot of illegals with an "attitude". ...been some bad accidents with illegals with cars ...no license, valid plates or insurance..lots of breakins , too. One killed and dumped roadside 1\4 mile from my door couple years back.. Most just want to work but there are some bad apples in the mix...I have been patrolling my farm at night and am armed...Does this make me a "redneck" ? Where do I join ? Previous experience Viet Nam Door gunner 67-68... I have no problem with legal immigration as long as they are "Americans" . Color no problem...Red White and Blue preferred !The Marine Corps cured me of prejudice...freedom loving men all bleed red.. Not to say the Marine shooting incident Will Uribe describes wasn't done by mistake or by an over enthusiastic (read lunatic) "recruit"... BUT THE BORDER PROBLEM NEEDS FIXIN ! Let's start a Kolb patrol on the Border with volunteers from the list...call it KAP ...Kolb Air Patrol...that should make the news ! On second thought we may come under close bureaucratic scrutiny (read harassment) by government orgs if we do something this controversial.....oh boy, just what this old cropduster needs...more government attention ! More Kolb related ...been flying my Cuyuna UL202 powered Ultrastar with the new Opti 2 oil and it is much better...no carbon buildup ...seems to be very compatible with the Cuyuna...6oz. per gallon...Last night I burned 2.5 gallons \ hr. at 5400 rpm and 75 mph......85 degree temps makes me lose 5mph...have about 15 hours since I switched to the new oil and it is smoother at idle and plugs are cleaner. ED in Western NY Hey BB...You can always fly over here and show me the new "toy" Do not archive

I know you are relieved and extremely happy. Thank goodness we do not have to comply with rigid noise abatement over here in "Alabama". My 912ULS and Warp Drive would never make the grade. I didn't realize how much noise this little buggers make until I was standing on the ramp at Reno/Sted Airport, NV, last month. Gary Haley had already taken off for the west side of the mountains and I was still on the ground getting ready to depart down the east side. As I stood there I was suddenly aware of this powerful little critter which was nearly out of site, but was still making loud music that was getting back to me on the ground. john h hauck's holler, alabama

All the photos look great. Yes, you should look for the article in possibly the August issue ... if not, definitely the September issue. As soon as I finalize the August issue, I'll let you know if it's making that one or September. Thanks again! Are you sitting in a cage or on either side of a single tube running up the middle. Inquiring minds want to know. ----- Original Message ----- From: <LOREN7310@aol.com> Subject: Kolb-List: (no subject) > --> Kolb-List message posted by: LOREN7310@aol.com > > I really do not know but it is a two place. > > > -- > >
