Thanks for all those who replied to the offer for my old UF Magazines. Josh
Lazar was the first to reply so he gets them.

Ellery,
Looked at the fine picture and Kolb but gotta ask. Is that a genuine old time
two hole outdoor privy behind the hanger? Couldn't see any moon shaped cutouts
on the front but maybe the Kolb is hiding them.

Ralph
I also live in the frozen North and I agree that a primer has to be used to start
the engine; I have spent many hours in the cold weather attempting to start
my engine before purchasing a primer which instantly solved my problems.
I have always been leery of the reducing Tee for the 1/8 inch line which is spliced
into the main line.
The Tee looks like the "weak link in the chain". If the 1/8 inch line pulled off
or the Tee broke, the fuel pump would be sucking air.
Would it be better to have the primer, have it's own little fuel tank or have it's
own line going into the main tank?

I agree with 'ol Possum, whatever works for you is the way to go. My first winter
fly'in this thing took 35 pulls on the starter rope to get it going. After
setting it up on the frozen lake and not able to get the thing started was when
I decide to get the primer pump. Then I realized that rubber choke washer could
cause problems opening and closing on every flight, or inadvertently leaving
it open a little, so I didn't miss having the choke.

Dear Kolb Group,
Just joined this group, I don't own an ultralight yet but I am in the
process of finding one. The Mark lll XTRA is what I have in mind. Do any
of you know if there is a Kolb dealer in Canada, specifically in Montreal or
Toronto or that general vicinity.
Your help would be greatly appriciated.
