Pat,
Are you trying to tell us all something with your phantom
messages ,,,,,,,,
that Vamoose was merely a phantom of Larry Bourne's creativity
sorta like possum's non-existent creation?
PS
Sorry to add to your already overwhelming frustration, Pat.

I figure at least one time in our life, we've all been where Larry is right
now (unless you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth), it hurts at
the moment, but my experience has been that something better is usually just
around the corner...
Warning, this theory doesn't always work when it comes to women!... Don't

Hello group ...
I have the "message not showing" problem also ...
Probably due to the way my email client wraps the message up ...
I realized that the message were sent by default in both html and plain
text
I am sending this as a test in "plain/text" only ...
Sorry for the annoyance ...
and of course DO NOT ARCHIVE

Larry, I, too, have had to make major changes and a move half way across the
continent. It's no fun, but you do what you have to do.
>From the pictures I've seen, you built one pretty Mk 3, it's a shame to see
you send it on without having had the pleasure of flying your handiwork. If
you don't mind a couple of suggestions.
Flying aircraft sell for more than projects. Why not sell the VW engine, get
a good used 503 and finish Vamoose? It might not be you're ideal aircraft
that way, but it'll fly and I can tell you from experience that nothing will
put a smile on your face faster than getting back in the air in your own
wings.
If you do have to store her, check the local airports for half hangars.
There's one on each end of a row of tee hangars and they generally rent
pretty cheap. In Puget Sound, where the average wait time for a hangar is in
excess of two years, I got a half hangar at Paine Field in four months. My
friend Mike walked into the airport office on the right day and walked out
with the keys to the half hangar kitty corner from me. Give it a try, you'll
still get to hang out at the airport, and if things change for you, you're
in the right place to fly Vamoose.
Good Luck,
Rick

"Ya'll drop on in"
takes on a whole new meaning
when you live at the airport.

Mike...
Ditto... That's how I know...
Larry...
When I moved to Spokane back in the middle '70s, I had my Republic Seabee on
a trailer and couldn't find inexpensive inside storage close to town...
Through a friend, I found out about very inexpensive storage at a grain
elevator building about 30 miles South of Spokane... I kept it there until
I bought my property on the lake and brought it home... Point being, don't
overlook out of the way, off the beaten path, places that could be utilized
as storage... That way you can bring her home when you're ready and GET
FLYING!...

No!!!!
You can't sell the Vamoose, it would be like selling one of your family
members .... is that legal ??
On second thought it would be like selling one of "our" family members
