Cristal- Nice catch! I am checking on a vibration at idle problem on my Firestar, and I think I hear a metallic rattle. I'll have to check that. Thanks. do not archive Bill Sullivan Windsor Locks, Ct. FS/KX/447

Hard to tell really. I bought this Mark II used last year, prepared it for airworthiness inspection and started flying it in April of this year. The Hobbs meter only reads around 35 hours (I think it was a rebuilt engine), but no telling how old the part that broke was. -------- Cristal Mark II Twinstar Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=187111#187111

Bill The two strokes do have a Vibration at idle what you might be hearing is Gear box Rattling does it go away as soon as you step the throttle up a tad, if so not much to worry about I always changes the gear box oil a couple times a summer that's a good chance to see if the magnetic plug in it has collected any thing new Ellery in Maine do not archive In a message dated 6/10/2008 6:49:06 A.M. Subject: Transition Pilot for Kolbra
I live in Amarillo, Texas and I am in need of a Kolb transition pilot, hopefully within a 300 mile radius. I am a private pilot with 230 hrs in single engine, fixed wing, high performance, complex, but no tailwheel experience. It would be nice to sign off in a side by side like the Mark III or Mark IV. I own a King Kolbra with a Jabiru 2200 and 2 hours on it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Shad. shad@amaonline.com

Russ, he posted a pic of his new citabria. A mighty sturdy ride, one you feel secure in whilst doing unnatural maneouvers.
