It is the measured noise OUTSIDE which decides wether you get a noise certificate issued. Without it, you don`t fly. Various countries in Europe have differing levels with the Germans, I think, being the tightest. Cutting down on the noise has probably done more for the acceptance by the general public of our sort of flying than anything else. A different prop for instance would need clearance but rubber buffers, insulation materials stuck on panels etc would be OK. Pics please.
