It has no foundation, it's "nailed" to the Kansas clay with two foot long spikes. I had the sides extended down to the ground, but left the ends open. Ends are available in several configurations including a lockable door. The whole thing went up in less than an afternoon with three assemblers. So far it has withstood 70+ mph winds the last couple of winters and none of the overlap joints of the siding (and roof) leak. Creaks a bit in high winds, but that's about it. For those unfamiliar with my project. I bought the Kolbra prototype fuselage, and plan to build a duplication of the "new Kolb wing". The production Kolbra has the highest listed stall speed of the fleet. Built as a dual control trainer, also does not have flaps. My hope is to build a wing, with flaps, that will have a lower stall speed.
