Can anyone send me the gross weight of the Twinstar with the 503 and nose fairing? I need to price floats, and it would sure help to know how much weight they need to displace! I'm leaning toward a Full Lotus mono system because I like its simplicity, being aerodynamically cleaner and the possibility of amphib without getting really weird with extendable nose gear dangling between spreader bars and all. Any opinions welcome! Michael Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=254459#254459

Sounds like you have a twinstar mark 1. The original designed gross weight of the mark 1 and 11 was 750 lbs. The mark 1 and 11 have 5 inch tail booms and wing spars, and the mark 111 has 6 inch. cheers, Rob hks twinstar mark 1 Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=254474#254474
