Hey. I bought a Kolb original Firestar. I have been on this list so far through your sufferance but maybe now I belong here. :-) I got a trailer, some extra parts, GPS, radios, etc. Need recovering. Has 503 DCDI w/ 38 hours. Tundra tires and gear legs from a Mrk II or III or something. Sits tall. GeoB

Pretty easy to make your own pitot and static tubes with one length of steel brake line tubing cut in half and a couple of flat washers. http://www.bcchapel.org/pages/0003/pg7.htm Richard Pike MKIII N420P (420ldPoops) Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=306310#306310

Hi All, I purchased a used Firestar KXP (N71RB) and have a few questions I hope someone will answer for me. #1. What is the phone # for the Kolb Company? #2. Where is a good place to buy a good shoulder harness made for the Firestar? #3. N71RB has the skinny tail wheel. Anyone know of a better one or has everyone had good luck with the skinny one? #4. Any suggestions or advise regarding the KXP? Thank you Gene N71RB Camden, Tn
