Herb, you may be right, however I've had really good luck with a sheet (maybe the floor pan) of aluminum. Pat, Quoting, whether top or bottom, should be options you can set within your email program or your browser. Check and see in your program's help files or search for instructions on the web. Sometimes these may be forum settings, too. I love it! Do the strobes flash like that due to internal built in circuitry, or did you have to come up with something to make them flash like that? Resources & details please! Thanks to all that have responded favorably both here on the list and at Oshkosh. The plane spent the last 4 days surrounded by people, most of who were very respectful of other peoples property. Here's a couple more pics of the plane. Hi Pastor, The strobes are police take down lights I found in Dave's hangers. He uses them for his Range Rider job, I borrowed them and tested them on the FireStar. They are not installed just hanging from the wing strut with cable ties. They have internal circuitry and I can choose how they flash from a contro l switch. Click on the link below to watch the LED lights in the day time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtQKOzj6hB8 Wouldn't use them in flight, they are blinding during night operations. Regards, Will Uribe I love it! Do the strobes flash like that due to internal built in circuit ry, or did you have to come up with something to make them flash like that? Resou rces & details please! If that doesn't help sell kits nothing will. I noticed the horizontal stab was tilted up a little. Is that an optical illusion? The horizontal stab is set in the top position because that's where it needs to be to fold the tail feathers. Flight testing will tell us the final story on proper incidence, then we'll probably change the design of that bracket to suit. -------- Scott www.ill-EagleAviation.com do not archive Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=306879#306879

Bob, The incidence of the horizontal stabilizer on my Mk IIIC is pretty much the same, just going by eyeball. Scott, That sure is a pretty airplane. The Kolb guys should be proud that they produce a kit that people can build so beautifully. Congratulations and much good flying. >How far north do you have to fly to be rid of 90 degree humid weather? I drove west 150 miles, went from 100 degrees high to 62 degrees. I went to Cambria (by Morro Bay, on the central Pacific coast). Made an offer on a house! :-) The central Calif coast is cool in the summer [1] and warm and summer in the spring fall and winter-- between storms anyway. [1] Because the prevailing high pressure inland brings a breeze toward land from the cold ocean currents off Calif. The hotter it is in Fresno, the cooler it is in Cambria. GeoB
