From: "Thom Riddle" Chris, If your ASI is accurate, your airspeeds and rpm are almost exactly the same as my SS. A mystery as to why/how that could be. I'm beginning to think I'm losing a good bit of speed due to the thrust line angle. As I've stated on a recent post, mine is pointing up several degrees when it should be pointing down about 4-6 degrees relative to the wing bottom chord. Can you tell me what your thrust line angle is relative to the bottom chord of your wing? -------- Thom Riddle Buffalo, NY (9G0) Kolb Slingshot SS-021 Jabiru 2200A #1574 Tennessee Prop 64x32 Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts. Not actually what I had in mind in my little rant about reporting standards. No one could accuse the Sun of having set the bar very high, but not quite at such a low level as that crash report. I thought the wreckage looked Kolb like. Sorry to hear that the pilot was one of our fellow listers. He bought a motorized wheel chair so that he could be mobile while the leg is healing.. I figure that the reporting would improve if more of us crashed...:-) So...I hope the reporting remains amateurish and far in between...Herb At 07:16 PM 10/23/2010, you wrote: > >We need titillating pictures like that >> > >Dont we though!. > >Not actually what I had in mind in my little rant about reporting >standards.
