I got this from a friend and thought that it might be important to some
of you.

Subject: FAA proposal
This is important, especially for those of you with your IA! I had heard
rumors of this happening. The FAA apparently wants to put limits on
current AP/IA holders. They seem to want an end to part-time, low volume
IA activity.

There is a docket for comments on this proposal... FAA-2010-1060. This
could impact a lot of AP/IA folks as well as the aircraft owners who
depend on them.
