Looking for input on the pros and cons of replacing the Cuyuna on my UltraStar with a 447 a friend will give me. Pro: 5HP more (theoretically means 350 fpm better climb) Reliabilty? Con: have to make a new engine mount or adapter need a new prop (what size?) Rotax parts are more expensive Comments? -- Shaw's principle: Build a machine that a fool can use, and only a fool will want to use it.

Same... both are 85#. The Rotax may be slightly lighter because the 85# doesn't include the Kolb redrive. -Dana At 10:13 AM 11/14/2010, Thom Riddle wrote: > >Dana, > >Is there much weight difference? -- How is it that 2 teenagers in the back of an original Volkswagen Beetle, in a crowded drive-in theater, can reproduce, yet it takes 2 spotted owls 10,000 acres?
