Thanks Dana. As soon as my membership is approved I'll take a gander. I figured
they had to be available somewhere. Strange that the New Kolb Company doesn't
appear to market them any more. But then, maybe they don't have the licence for
them, or perhaps selling older designs for homebuilds would reduce sales of
their current kits. Who knows. Thanks again for the pointer on where to look.
Richard. :)

Richard Pike,
Have you noticed any benefit by changing the wing tip shape on your latest
rebuild?

Too soon to tell. Initial impressions are that the airplane is faster at a given
rpm, but since we also streamlined the gear legs and now have a very tight gap
seal, in addition to slightly changing the upper fuselage under the aft part
of the wing, it is hard to say if the wingtips are responsible for anything.
Haven't flown since I put the trim tab on, it has been gusty all day for the last
three days, Monday is supposed to be good, will do some test flying then and
post results if they make any sense.
We have a video on the Mountain Empire Sport Flyers webpage, shows the new wing
profile real well.
