Subject: BRS on FSII - Oil injection pump in the way + bridal ques.
    From: "gotime242" <dylanshine@gmail.com>
Hey all, 1) Recently i picked up a BRS for my firestar II and just got to trying to mount it today. I mounted it as far forward as possible as so it doesnt hit the small support tubes coming off the main tube its mounted on, had to tilt it slightly so it doesnt hit the starter....but not the oil injection pump arm cant move freely. What are people doing for this? I tried to bend the arm in a way that it would work behind it but not much luck... What would be needed to remove the injection system all together and just premix? A block off plate or something? 2) The brs came off of a trike and has 3 bridals and im really not sure which one to use. There is a 30", 82" and 92" with two heavy clips. Which of these (or all of them) should i use? How are your rigs setup? Thanks!! Does not interfere with any of the small tubes. Ralph, You've got a very good looking Kolbra there. I've always thought the Kolbra to be the sharpest-looking profile of all the Kolbs. I got to fly a couple of hours today myself, and it was nice to catch some air again. A friend of mine and fellow Kolb driver Robert Laird took a photo of me flying over his property. I did not know about it until I got home and saw he had emailed it to me. He must have a powerful telephoto lens because I believe I was around 900' agl while over his place. My Firestar looks pretty good from 1000' away, not quite so pretty at 5'. -------- Jimmy Young Missouri City, TX Kolb FS II/HKS 700 Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=332988#332988 Attachments: http://forums.matronics.com//files/jimmyyoung_kolb_firestar_ii_n7043p_182.jpg

BRS will send you detailed instructions for mounting your chute; the instru ctions are make and model-specific. THEN - they urge you to take photos and send them the pics so they can advise you as to whether it's mounted corre ctly.
