Well...I've been a resident of the Neosho, MO, Airport for 24 hours and probably
have another 48 hours to go. Winds have been whipping out of the south since
yesterday morning when I left El Dorado, KS. Presently we have winds of 32
gusting to 43 out of the south. Will remain that way through tomorrow night.
Wednesday looks doable when the wind shifts out of the west 17 to 20 with gusts
to 28. I can tolerate wind much better when I get a little help from it.
Lost my internet connection because of the high winds this morning. Told Billy
Sallee, airport manager, I was going to get a motel room for a couple days so
I could use their computer. He told me I better reconsider because all the rooms
are full because of the tornado in Joplin, 22 May, when I was here weathered
in.
Internet connection is intermittent, so at least I have access to it at times.
Got the mkIII in a hanger out of the wind this morning.
High wind bent the trailing edge of my rudder while tied down at Evanston, WY.
I forgot to tie the rudder pedals together while I was weathered in there on
the way west. Don't know whether to try to straighten it when I get home or leave
it alone. Hasn't affected the flying any.

Sorry guys & gals; I need to edit this request. I just discovered that
the 2stroke version (2002?) doesn't include oil pressure/temp. I'd need
the 4stroke version because my engine is a water cooled 4stroke. I only
need 2 EGT/CHT, but I do need all the other temp/pressure sensors that a
4stroke requires. The model 2004 will work fine, if anyone has that
model available.
Thanks,
Charlie

Charlie,
Grand Rapids can update the two stroke model to a four stroke one.
They did it for me, cost was about the same to update as if you bought a
new four stroke one.
