    Subject: video
http://vimeo.com/user7640649/videos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oYjvxXpC_j0 I have been using You Tube for my video's. The quality improved when Google bought it, but now they are really particular about using sound tracks to the point that you are better off just leaving it with no sound or the monotonous sound of engines. Some may like it but unless I am in the airplane it is annoying to me. As one friend said, " if you want to hear engine noise, turn on an electric razor while it is playing". Anyway that has bothered me. I know that I have actually bought music that I have enjoyed on certain video's. Possum with Dido for a sound track caused me to buy one of them. The same friend piqued my interest in Vimeo. He is using HD, but he also has a faster upload speed than I do, but the quality was outstanding. I decided to try it. I went for an afternoon flight yesterday just to get some raw video to compare. I have resisted HD simply because It would take forever for me to upload anything, but I did want to see how Vimeo worked. It seems to be a bit more friendly. The tutorials that are available for the different movie makers are very handy. The upload time is about the same, but to me the quality of Vimeo is a bit better. Not a lot, but lighter it seems to me. I ran both side by side to compare. If I can just use a sound track, that alone would make it better. Happy and safe Forth! The vimeo loads faster but is obviously more pixilated at big screen. Perhaps you can find some generic elevator music. :) BB On 2, Jul 2011, at 2:33 PM, Larry Cottrell wrote: > http://vimeo.com/user7640649/videos > > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oYjvxXpC_j0 > > I have been using You Tube for my video's. I can=99t detect much visual difference on my screen, but I do miss the elegant Native American / Canyon People music used on some of your videos which was a superb match for the landscapes you shared with us.... yeah, You tube is a stickler for music. Since I wanted to use the exact same video for comparison, I used some of the sample music that came on the computer.
