Hi, great flying pics as usual, not much between the quality. As far as the `music` is concerned someone should point out to the `musicians` there are more than 4 notes available to them. Personally I woud rather listen to an electric razor. Thank heaven for the volume control. Pat

Have they changed their policy again then? Youtube was a problem with music a while ago, then they apparently worked something out, with "buy this song" links on most videos with music. It would suck if they changed back to the old policy again, as a well chosen music track can really add a lot to a video. -Dana Larry Cottrell <lcottrell1020@gmail.com> wrote: yeah, You tube is a stickler for music. The quality improved when Google bought it, but now they are really particular about using sound tracks to the point that you are better off just leaving it with no sound or the monotonous sound of engines. Some may like it but unless I am in the airplane it is annoying to me. As one friend said, " if you want to hear engine noise, turn on an electric razor while it is playing". Anyway that has bothered me. I know that I have actually bought music that I have enjoyed on certain video's. Possum with Dido for a sound track caused me to buy one of them. The same friend piqued my interest in Vimeo. He is using HD, but he also has a faster upload speed than I do, but the quality was outstanding. I decided to try it. I went for an afternoon flight yesterday just to get some raw video to compare. I have resisted HD simply because It would take forever for me to upload anything, but I did want to see how Vimeo worked. It seems to be a bit more friendly. The tutorials that are available for the different movie makers are very handy. The upload time is about the same, but to me the quality of Vimeo is a bit better. Not a lot, but lighter it seems to me. I ran both side by side to compare. If I can just use a sound track, that alone would make it better. Happy and safe Forth! I think Google ( which owns them) got some threats about lawsuits over copyright infringement and started to crack down. I tend to listen when warnings are in red. Before there were some artists that they would not allow you to use, and they would block the music. The last one that I tried before, they cancelled the upload. I can't remember the artist. To our resident Englishman: Just to get a comparison that was the same with both uploads I used a sample that was supplied on my computer. I did not listen to it, nor did I prefer that type of "music", but I was sure that it would not cause and legal repercussions. Not sure that it matters, some don't like the drum and flute music, others think it fits the country, others complain that there is no engine noise. :-) Oh well, It was worth what you paid for it. I tried to go out today and explore some mountains south of us. I decided to abort due to the winds. At ground level there is no wind, but 200 to 1000 feet off the ground there is a 20 mile headwind, and there would be rotors over the Mts. I don't want to fly too low as there are Pot farms back in the folds of the hills. The illegal's have had some really big "farms" back in there. Being slow I make a really good target. Another day. While not ideal, there IS public domain music. Just go to Google and type in "public domain music" and you'll get lots of things to investigate. Hey Gang, Gotta share.. Its a wonderful day in Hollister CA.. no wind, getting HOT, 75deg F , 6000 feet of paved runway.. Just finished doing high speed taxi tests, Line up , feed in power, WOW we're up and climbing like Hell... Ease off the power, engine getting hot, climb to 2500ft, CHT still up there , red light on. still need slight nose down trim (Push). back off the power, Fly around for 10 mins, feels good, slow down on purpose, left wing drops a little between 35-40, good.. Line up for landing careful to keep power in at 50MPH.. down, down Ok start to feel for runway, THUNK, ok landed.. still had 2 feet to go when KOLB STALL kicks in .. but my new steel legs did OK.. Taxi back. stop.. Thanks Travis and kOLB folks.. As you may know my very first flight was with my wings and tail rigged incorrectly, WAYY to much up elevator... SO now I very close to the following angles.. motor mount and Engine = 0 deg Boom Tube = -6.1deg Wing= +3.4 deg. Horz Stab = -4.8 Deg , I think I need to add a few Deg more. to reach this number.. New long steel legs.. A REAL 1st flight Now I have an airplane... Time to fix that radio that is garbled, work on the high temps of the Jabiru, and put in a dynamic trim system.. and raise the LE of the horz Stab slightly.. Fun Fun.. Fly safe, these are GREAT airplanes.. FrankD Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=344805#344805 Attachments: http://forums.matronics.com//files/img_5995_109.jpg

Perhaps an airworthiness inspector wanted to see a control "stop". I think that it may be required. Good job Frank !I'm glad you are getting it dialed in ! On your air scoops...does the air flow right through them? And the way they are spread apart looks like it may actually be blocking the air flow or not letting air go through them...just a thought... chris ambrose M3X/Jabiru a 2200 N327CS Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=344841#344841
