From: "flyingfischead" I just heard from the guy that bought my NEIUPORT back in Sept. I had used CUA 101 2 stroke oil in the 503 since right after breakin. About 200 hrs. Plugs always looked good-never any problems. The new owner of my NIEUport decided to rebuild the engine just to get it back to 0 time. He told me last week the mechanic who did the job said the engine looked brand new inside with no detectable wear. It had to be the oil. I also used CUA 101 gear box additive with the regular gear lube and he also said the gearbox inside looked and checked out like new. Engine and gearbox - 20 years old with 225 hrs tt. I would still use it if I could find it.
