Subject: | Flight West 20112 |
Hi Folks:
Took off from Laramie, WY, at 0600 yesterday. Landed at the Rock House at 1700.
Had a nine hour flight day.
Trip took 6 days, 4 flying and two on the ground.
Total time was 24.1 hours, 6, 6, 3, and 9 hour days, which average out to 6 hours
a day X 4 days.
The Kolb MKIII and Rotax 912ULS performed flawlessly. Only mechanical problem
was loss of the little metal cap on the top of the Maule tail wheel between Burley
and Buhl, ID.
Even after all these years, this little airplane still impresses me. It does some
amazing stuff hauling me and my gear to some exotic places.
Feels to good to take it easy and not have to fly today. ;-)
