Just my 2 cents:
I suspect that the bill in our dysfunctional congress has little chance of getting
out of committee much less going to the floor for a vote. However, its mere
proposal might spur the FAA into action on the EAA/AOPA proposal since the congressional
proposal is usurping FAA territory. In fact, I suspect that those
who wrote this proposal knew it would not pass but figured the FAA needed a kick
in the butt to act on the EAA/AOPA proposal. I hope it works.
