Guys,
After a little bending and fitting the flap handle bracket does limit the
travel of the slider to 1-5/8". This translates to a maximum downward
deflection of only 6.5.
This seems a bit small since most of the things I fly that have flaps use
10 as the first notch. 6.5 may well be enough to do the job. I won't
know until flight testing.

I placed a tie wrap on the control tube and cycled the flaps full up to full
down - 1 5/8 " total travel.
