Nice pics Richard. Pretty countryside.
In the days when I had a Challenger a friend asked me if I would take his
wife for a flight. She had been very ill for years and was badly crippled.
In fact I thought that she was too distorted to get in. The Challenger was
difficult enough for someone able bodied.
With some difficulty we managed to work her down into the cockpit and I
took her for half and hour around the local town and over her house. She
lapped it up.
A few days later she was at the doctors as usual and told him that she had
been for a flight in a microlight. Doctor went apoplectic. Why didn`t you
ask me first ? Because I knew you would you would veto it.
She died shortly afterwards and I was always pleased that I had been able to
give her that special outing.
Pat
