There were two of us flying along with Alan, my friend Dave in a Taylorcraft & me in the Zenith. Alan comes down to our field on occasion & more often than not we'll escort him back to where he came from since it's a good excuse to fly. We continued on to La Porte TX to look at Taylorcraft parts after leaving Alan at his strip near Texas City. Our return flight had some Gulf showers popping up which we conveniently used the edges of to get a plane wash. All things considered, a very good day to take advantage of being a pilot & a plane owner.
