Here is one that is not good: mine.

Weight at the rear of the rudder causes flutter which is why I have the big counterweight.
If I had it to do over again I would make the counterweight much smaller
and then put the light on the counterweight in front of the hinge line
facing aft.

I meant experimental aircraft not certified. And you are right. I
could find no requirements for entries in the log book for covering.
But there has to be something in the stack of receipts that usually
accompany an aircraft. After owning 5 aircraft it has been my
experience that nobody throws any papers away. LOL

Here is the Firestar II I picked up this past Summer. I've flown it about 25 hours
and it is a blast. It was a builder assist by the original owner at the Kolb
factory.
