Back in my gliding days I took a side track and tried hang gliding. I broke my leg. However I got the hospital to put a ridge in the base of my plaster cast to fit the rudder pedals in my glider so I was able to get back to flying my glider long before the cast came off. May be you can work something similar. Cheers. Same scenery, different song. I listen to "Pandora" a lot, and I heard this song on it and was enthralled with it. I went on Amazon and bought it for .99 cents with the express plan of putting it on a fun video yet to be made. It has been winter here for quite a long time, with lots of fog and wind. Today was quite nice, and since I am going in Wed to get a bone spur removed from my right foot, it was time for a treat to give me something to look forward to. They tell me that the full recovery is about 4 months. That is going to keep me grounded for a lot of the spring flying. The camera is a Virb, and while the clarity is pretty remarkable, it still has a little shake to it at times. My preferred cruise speed is of course the one that causes the most wave and vibration. The best is the slowest viable speed, and it was my thought that the fast cruise was also stable, so today I went full cruise rpm's. That gave me some pause because high 70's mph speeds causes some heavy aileron forces. Low to the ground, heavy ailerons, one needs to pay attention. Still a lot of fun however. I noticed that sometimes the speed shown is sometimes not the same as what is realistic. I like to think that my flying speeds are correct, but I wouldn't swear to it however.
