Hi Richard. Thanks for the great pics. i flew a Harvard out of Hood many
years ago. I was staying with a family called Baring at a sheep farm just
outside Masterton. They had arranged for me to fly a Tiger Moth but when we
arrived at Hood I saw the Harvard in the corner of the hangar. I had already
flown a Tiggy several times, indeed I did some of my original flying
lessons in one so I managed to do a swap and flew the Harvard instead. Not
sure what you called the Harvard in NZ. The Americans called it a T6. Thanks
